By creating an account and using Closet, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not create an account or use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Closet. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Closet is a fragrance collection tracking app. It allows you to log the fragrances you own, record wears, view AI-assisted identification and pricing estimates, earn milestone badges, and compare your collection with friends through group leaderboards. The service is currently provided free of charge.

Fragrance identification, pricing estimates, brand tier classifications and the resulting scores are generated using AI and third-party data sources, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should independently verify any information you intend to rely on, particularly valuations. Closet makes no guarantee of accuracy for this data.

You retain ownership of any photos or data you upload. By uploading content, you grant Closet a license to store, process and display that content within the app — for example on your profile and within the group leaderboards you participate in — solely for the purpose of operating the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of the content you upload. You agree not to upload illegal, infringing or abusive content, and not to misuse group features to harass other members.

The operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, at its discretion, for violation of these terms or misuse of the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of uptime, accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months — currently $0, as the service is free.

You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

These terms may be updated if paid subscription features, public signup or other material changes are introduced. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the German courts.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
